CAMERA 35mm camera 50mm macro lens High-speed photography SETUP: This stop action photographic shot of lemons and limes is an example of high speed cavitation photography and was made using a 35 gallon aquarium with a laser trigger shooting through the aquarium glass. The alignment is easy because you can easily find the beam of the beam tripper beam as it exits the other side of the bank. Simply place the laser receiver in laser beam path after its passed through the tank. You never need to worry about the beam showing up in the shot because as soon as the beam is broken it turns off for 2 seconds. The lemons were thrown very hard into the tank to create the cavitation effect. A delay module was used to position the fruit at the pre-focused point within the tank before triggering an electronic cable release. |
